Richard Raymond Scott
Richard Raymond Scott entered into rest peacefully at his home in Cascade on Jan. 25, 2015, of natural causes.
He was born Aug. 12, 1947 in Nampa and graduated from Nampa High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969.
Dick married the love of his life, Anita Davis, on July 20, 1994 and they were married 20 years.
Dick worked as a mechanic, business owner and logger and was self-employed as a log-truck driver for the last 20 years.
He enjoyed any outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing and time with family and friends. He was also actively involved with the Independent Order of Foresters, PRCA, NRA and the local American Legion.
Dick is survived by his wife, Anita; his children, Diane (Dwight), Dwayne Chrissy (Merle), Carie (David),Casey (Keith) and Travis (Cindy); 12 grandchildren and most of all his animals, Bridgett, Jake, Koda and Beau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Scott and Jean Burgess; and a brother, Ken Scott.
In lieu of flower, memorial donations may be made to American Legion Post 60 in Cascade.
