Peter Angelo Caprio

Peter Angelo Caprio, 63 years young, born April 17th, 1959. Peter suddenly passed away on August 14th, 2022.
Peter was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Velma Louise Caprio. His family moved from the East coast to the West, where he attended K-12 In Rio Vista, CA.
Peter had a passion for construction and custom home building from a young age. He started his own business, Caprio Construction at the age of 20 and never looked back. His love for helping people build their forever homes became second nature to him. When he wasn’t working, Peter enjoyed skiing at Brundage mountain with the "Powder Pigs", Golfing at Jug Mountain, mountain biking, camping and riding his beloved 96’ Harley. Peter was on the design and review Board at Jug Mountain and well as a part of the homeowners’ association.
Peter Is survived by his wife Claire Horn Caprio, his sister Paula Baños, his children Kimberly (Eric) Brown, Peter Jr. (Hayley), Caitlin Caprio, his grandchildren Peyton, Preston, and Paisley Brown, and his “right-hand man” and dog JACK.
The Graveside Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 28th, 2022 at high noon at the Finnish Church Cemetery, with a celebration of life to follow after at Jug Mountain Golf Course.
