Isaac Julian Kaaen Dee
Isaac was born on January 8th, 2015. He came into this world 4 weeks
early. He had been diagnosed early in pregnancy with a syndrome that
most babies don't survive. Regardless of this diagnosis, his mom's
already loved him and continued to carry him to term.
Despite all that was against him, Isaac was born with fully
developed lungs and came into the world screaming, with strong
intentions of being heard. He was a true miracle!
His zest for life was undeniable in the way he ate so voraciously
and let it be known when he was hungry or needed a clean diaper. He
flashed brilliant smiles, and sighed contentedly when satiated. He
gripped his mom's fingers and snuggled in tight to go to sleep.
He gave his family 13 amazing and beautiful days with him. They will
forever miss him in their lives, and so will many others who were
lucky enough to meet him. He left an indelible mark on this world in
his short time and will be remembered forever.
He leaves behind his mothers; Karin Kaaen and Brandi Dee, his
grandparents; Charleen Kaaen of Walla Walla, Wayne and Becky Kaaen
of Halfway, Chris and Gene Foster of Garden Valley and Dave Dee of
Grangeville. His aunts and uncles; Kris and Katie Kaaen of Baker
City, Kirsten and Nathan Brannon of Portland, Chuck and Jennifer Dee
of Elko, NV and 3 cousins, Sofie 7, Soren 3, and Rowan (soon to be
born)
