Clarice Jewel (Fowler) Smith

Formally of McCall, Idaho

Born February 19, 1931 in Massachusetts, passing June 9, 2018 in New Meadows at the age of 87.   Our Mother and Grandmother, has left our care to return to the love of her life, David B. Smith - she has waited 10 years for this day. Please don’t be sad she is where she wants to be. She will also join her mom and dad, William and Mildred Flower. She was their only child. She has made up for all that with the birth of five children, in 1953, Barbra Hunter of New Meadows, Idaho, in 1954 William (Susan) Smith of Graham, Washington, in 1956 Robert (Rise) Smith of New Meadows, Idaho, in 1961 Mary (LeRoy) Smith of Ogden, Utah and the baby of the family in 1962 Linda (Lamont) Lloyd of New Meadows, Idaho, In 1973 Randy Basabe, moved in with them becoming one of them her sixth child.  She has a total of 45 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  Mom was a nurse in the Army, she met the love of her life David Smith in June at West Point New York Academy and was married in November 1952 in Massachusetts.

Funeral Services will be held at Heikkila-Carver Funeral Home in McCall, Idaho on Saturday, June 16th, 2018 at 11:00 A.M., and she will be laid next to David in the McCall Cemetery.

There will be a viewing on Friday, June 15th, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. the casket will be closed at 3:00 P.M. for those who wish to say goodbye without viewing.
